FireIce^® MTR Gel is the only aerially delivered fire chemical that can effectively adhere to the canopy and penetrate to the understory. A small component of free-water in mixed FireIce^® provides enhanced penetration with reduced shadowing, while the gel provides adhesion.

No other fire chemical has a lower environmental impact than FireIce^® MTR gels. Our products are non-toxic, phosphate & ammonia free, and will not promote noxious weed growth. FireIce^® MTR gels is safe to use in ecologically sensitive areas, including wilderness areas, vulnerable water sources, and the wildland urban interface (WUI).
